Olivia and I went to East Texas for Thanksgiving, and had a lovely time! We stayed at Aunt Trisha's house, and got to hear the voices of everyone in the family. There was lots of really good food too! While we were gone, Alex (aka Daddy) decorated Olivia's room and the play room. Look at the pictures below to see how it turned out! He did an amazing job!

Next is our newest family member. Sadie is our 7 month old Teacup Poodle. She is the sweetest little thing! She likes to run up the stairs, but doesn't know how to come down, so we are always having to help her, but i think she's slowly getting the hang of it. She LOVES to play with her Big Brother Brody.........

Which brings me to our original baby. He is going to be 2 in May. He is probably one of the most beautiful dogs i've ever seen! We didn't know what a Shiba Inu was when we bought him, but he was just so cute we couldn't pass him up, and i'm glad we didn't! He likes to try and swing Sadie around by her toys, but they play really well together and love each other very much! If anyone is looking to buy a dog or puppy I strongly reccomend a Shiba - they are so sweet and loving!!

Well, that's all for now, i just felt bad that i didn't have that many pictures to share, and our page was looking kind of empty. If i don't see anyone before or post another blog, i hope everyone has a WONDERFUL thanksgiving!!!!

It's a GIRL!!!!

So we finally were able to see our precious little baby GIRL in a sonogram on the 30th of October - unfortunately i can't seem to figure out how to get the video or the sonogram pictures up just yet, so that will have to wait - but i wanted to let everyone know what we are having! She was so active during the sonogram! Doing flips and kicking her long legs! Heartbeat was very strong and everything was perfect! the nurse kept saying she was very photogenic and she was a camera hog, because she kept being a little ham for the camera, i told her she must get that from her aunt Laura!!! Well, Alex and i are both very excited, we are purchasing some furniture, and Alex is planning on painting the nursery and putting the furniture together while i'm in Tyler for thanksgiving! (What a sweet husband i have!!) That's all for now!

Life as We Know It

After knowing each other since the 7th grade, and dating since senior year in high school, Alex and I decided to get married on April 27th, 2008. It was a gorgeous wedding and i had the time of my life! Even that song from the end of Dirty Dancing kept playing through my head at the reception! Haha. We flew to Colorado for our Honeymoon and had an amazing time even though it was off season and not much to do. We drove around alot and visited Vail, Breckenridge, Beaver Creek, Aspen, and several other places. It ended up snowing 10 inches on one of our last days, and we drove to Blackhawk and spent our last night at the Isle of Capri. It was a great trip but we missed Brody terribly! That's our original Baby! He's a 30lb. Shiba Inu (which is basically a minature Akita) who just turned 1 this past May, and is the sweetest and most beautiful little dog ever. Then in June/July i convinced Alex to let me buy another dog - enter my 2lb. 4oz little angel Sadie - She's a black teacup poodle, and will be 6months this october. Then in mid to late July Alex and i got the surprise of our lives - we found out that i was pregnant! We have both always wanted kids and to have them at a young age. We are thrilled beyond belief and will be finding out very soon what we are having, so stay tuned...........
